I'm 'Old-school' in that I began using computer programs by first getting an over-view of ALL the functions of which the program was capable, determining which ones I wanted to learn how to use, and then trying to understand those chosen functions in detail - how to best use them to do what I needed or might need in the future. haven't seen too many guides teaching how to actually use INPA.
